Julie Evans

 

Having worked in the public relations arena for the past 20 years, Julie is highly regarded throughout Ireland for her industry contacts and expertise. She began her PR career working as a Public Relations Officer for the Llangollen International Jazz Festival in Wales. Later Julie joined Harrods Ltd, where she worked as a Press Officer overseeing various high profile projects including major store promotions and event organisation.

 

Julie established herself as a freelance PR consultant for Shandwick PR, one of the world’s largest public relations companies and Prime Communications London. She worked on a variety of projects with both London based firms until the early 90’s. She relocated to Ireland and commenced work with Casey Communications in 1993, where she took up the post as Account Director for several key clients.

Julie has been involved with various projects since joining the team at Casey Communications. Her experience portfolio includes public consultation and communications work for the Fluor PM joint venture project along with work for the Cork Main Drainage Scheme, the Jack Lynch Tunnel and Mahon Point Shopping Centre. Julie has an enviable array of personal contacts with many key personalities in the local, political and business community.
